Stephen Bingham, youngest child of Dea. Thomas Bingham and Mary Rudd, was b. Apr. 30, 1690 at Norwich, Conn. He d. Mar. 23, 1770, Æ 80, in what was known as the Andover Church Society section of Hebron, Conn., now Andover, Conn. The rural town of Andover was incorp. in 1848 principally from Hebron and part of Coventry, Conn.

On Dec. 11, 1712 at Windham, Conn., Stephen m. 1) Mary Kingsbury, dau. of Joseph Kingsbury and Love Ayer(s), b. of record at Haverhill, Mass. on Oct. 19, 1687. Mary d. childless at Windham, Conn. on Dec. 6, 1714, Æ 28.

On Nov. 30, 1715 at Windham, Conn., Stephen m. 2) Rebecca Bishop, stated to be of south adjoining Lebanon, Conn., b. in 1697 and d. Feb. 8, 1764 at the Andover Society section of Hebron, Conn., now Andover, Conn., Æ 67. They had the following two known children:

• i. Dr. Eleazer Bingham, b. July 13, 1718 at Windham, Conn., d. Mar. 28, 1783 at what is now Andover, Conn., Æ 65. He m. July 13, 1738 at Lebanon, Conn., Miriam Phelps, dau. of Joseph Phelps and Sarah Curtis, b. Sept. 1718 at Lebanon and d. Dec. 13, 1766, Æ 49. They had eight children of record at Lebanon, CT.

• ii. Rebecca Bingham, b. Nov. 28, 1720 and d. Nov. 8, 1738, Æ 18.
