Anita Elaine Blythe, 54, of Harrison died Thursday, Oct. 12 (2006) at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at Bible Baptist Church with Brother Bill Schaeffer officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at Holt Memorial Chapel.

Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Keys, Ted Schaeffer, Clayton Cryer, Grant Rhodes, Jimmy Morrison and Jim Kimbrell. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Ronald Reese, Jim Keys, Bill Christian, Paul Christian, Bob Keys, Randall Morrison and nieces and nephews.

The daughter of James Arley and Tennie Elaine (Christian) Carter was born Jan. 22, 1952, at Lick Branch. She was a homemaker and a member of Bible Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Francis Carter.

She is survived by her husband, Linville Ray Blythe of the home; one son, James Ralph Blythe of Hollister, Mo.; two daughters, Anita Lynn Tanner of Harrison and Rayetta Elaine Austin of Harrison; her father, James Arley Carter of Western Grove; two brothers, Gary Carter of Valley Springs and Rick Carter of Harrison; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
