Those of us researching the Wheeler family lineage of Bedfordshire have found no definitive evidence that this person or any others listed in the picture "Pedigree chart of Sir Thomas Wheeler" actually existed. Those knighted under King Henry VII at the battle of Stoke are known and no Wheeler or any variation of that name exists. Further, there is no history of a Sir John Welere, and his wife's name given as Patty Sue Milk is not possible as the name "Patty" was not in use until the 1700's. Unfortunately this memorial has been referenced in countless Wheeler family lineage charts and has caused much confusion.
