Her daughter Katie Rice married, first, Jacob Hartzell, and, second, Samuel Smith, and resided in Adams County, PA, until her death. Her three sons, John, Peter, and Henry, emigrated to Howard County, Indiana, about 1844, where they married, resided, and died.
After Elizabeth Bear Rice died, her widower Peter Rice married Elizabeth Plank (February 3, 1805 - December 23, 1890), and they had eight more children together.
