John Hoida Dies In Hospital Today - John Hoida, 67, 1206 Thomas St, diedin a local hospital early this morning. He had been in ill health threeyears and suffered a stroke Thursday. Mr. Hoida retired from the Joannes Bros Co. where he worked in the warehouse for 30 years. He was a memberof the Holy Name Society of Annunciation Church. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Schumacher and Mrs. C. E. Schmitt, GreenBay; four grandchildren, three brothers, Jake, Milwaukee, Bill, Stephenson, MI, and Joseph, Green Bay; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Vorachek, Menominee, MI; Mrs. Ann Michaely and Mrs. Margaret Boucher, MIlwaukee. Mr Hoida was born in Menominee and had lived in Green Bay since 1916.
The body will be at the Coad Funeral Home at 6 o'clock this evening. The rosary will be said at 8 o'clock tonight and at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening by Msgr William Kiernan. Msgr Kiernan will offer the requiem mass at 9o'clock Wednesday morning in Annunciation Church. Burial will be in Fort Howard Cemetery.
