Services for Alice Louise Hillin Williams, formerly of Lyons, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home. Burial was at IOOF Cemetery in Rockdale.
Mrs. Williams died Monday, Sept. 15.
She was born in Rockdale on Oct. 29, 1912, to Jefferson Davis and Maggie Driggers Hillin.
She married Elton Lanie Williams Sr. on Sept. 19, 1928, in Cameron and he preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 1985.
Mrs. Williams was a minister serving churches in Texas and Kansas.
Survivors are two sons, Elton L. Williams Jr. of Lake Charles, LA, and Ben Erle Williams of Garland; also, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
