Rex E. Blood 80, Indianapolis, passed away March 31, 2005. He was born November 27, 1924 in Terre Haute, IN to Arthur E. and Beulah (Johnson) Blood. Rex graduated from Garfield High School in Terre Haute and received a degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He worked as an executive in the Traffic Department at Indiana Bell for 35 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII. Mr. Blood was a member of the Exchange Club, Telephone Pioneers of America, Ambassadair Travel Club, Greentree (Twin Lakes) Country Club, and The Point Resort & Country Club. He also volunteered with the Humane Society.

Rex is survived by his wife, Joanne E. (Boyll) Blood; daughter, Kathy L. Beattie; son, James E. Blood (Melissa); aunt, Mary Elizabeth Smith; two cousins and ten grandchildren.
