Etta Kate Porter, age 69, of Ohio, formerly of Falls of Rough passed away Friday, (January 26, 2007) in Ohio.

She was born on May 10, 1937 in Springerton, IL, the daughter of Michael and Wilma Rankin's Porter. She attended the Yeaman Church of Christ.

She is survived by two children, Betsy (Davis) Gillman of Ohio and Michael (Maddog) Davis of Owensboro, her mother, Wilma Porter of Ohio, one brother, Hardin Porter of Falls of Rough and one sister, Buda Rose Neal of Fordsville. 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by father, Mike Porter.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday (January 29, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Denver Young will be officiating. Burial will be in the Porter Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kate Porter memorial fund c/o the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville.
