Clyde Goodno, 89, Fort Scott, died Sunday, May 31, 1998, at Fort Scott Mercy Hospital. He was born on Nov. 25, 1908, in Bronson, Kan., the son of Charles Frederick and Jennie Ardelessa Marvin Goodno. He married Marie Meyers on March 9, 1940, in Nevada, MO. She preceded him in death on Nov. 22, 1982. He then married Lucille Gambill Ewing on Oct. 9, 1986, in Miami, Okla.
He was a lifelong resident of the Bourbon County area having farmed until 1982, and worked with the Bourbon County A.S.C.S. office for 13 years. He was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Uniontown, served twice as Master of the Bourbon Masonic Lodge #268 of Bronson, Kan., the Fort Scott Scottish Rite Bodies and the Bronson Eastern Star.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille, of the home; a son, Fred Goodno and a daughter, Rolene Goodno, both of Moran, Kan.; three grandsons; two sisters, Doris George and Lois McKinnis both of Uniontown.
