Funeral services will be held Friday, November 17, 2006 at 2 P.M. from the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel, Hamilton, AL, with burial in Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg, AL.
Mr. Benefield is survived by his wife: Bethel Lenis Benefield; daughters: Jackie & Tony Avery, Jane & Chuck Latham; Grandsons: Zach Avery, Jane & Chuck Latham; and a sister: Vera Lea Bell Benefield Harris – Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents: George Washington & Carolyn Jocie Prestridge Benefield; and his first wife: Sue Grissom Benefield.
