Ryan, age 28, died Friday, December 4, 2009 . He was born March 25, 1981 in Lansing. Surviving are his wife, Dr. Kristin (Beckner); parents, Jim and Nancy; brothers Jason (Katie), Ryan (Christina) and Andy. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews Morgan, Colton, Chase, Gavin, Annika, Evelyn, Aston, Natalie, Isabella and Lillian. Ryan also leaves behind his beloved border collie, Kaylee.
A graduate of Western Michigan University, Ryan pursued his career as a computer engineer with the State of Michigan. Ryan's family wishes to extend a special thank you to all of his caregivers. A celebration of Ryan's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sparrow Hospice.
