Funeral services for 52-year-old Charles Dickerson of Mountain Home will be at 10 am today at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Shy officiating. Mr. Dickerson died Thursday ( Feb. 15, 2001) at Springfield, Missouri.
He was born Nov. 5,1943 at Norfork to Acie and Helen Dickerson. He was a lifetime area resident.
Mr. Dickerson was a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing. He was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by a son, William Dickerson of Mountain Home; four daughters, Ann Price and husband, James, of Oakland, Rose Woods and husband, Robert, of Flippin, Tonya Rose and husband, Jeff, of Wichita, Kan., and Virginia ManWarren and husband, Charles, of Oakland; two brothers, Neil and Tommy Edwards of Hope; three sisters, Mary Medley and husband, Burley of Independence, Mo., Virginia Wheatley and husband, Morton, of Malvern, and Ruth Alice Sumner and husband, Tommy, of Magnolia; seven grandchildren, Jamie, J. C., Max Price, Kimberly and Kristin Dickerson, and Katherine Rose and Bradley ManWarren; first wife, Ruby Dickerson of Mountain Home; and special friend, Ruth Norton and daughter, Mandy of Lebanon, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother.
Visitation was held Sunday at Roller Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery at Norfork.
Pallbearers will be Bill Sutterfield, Cecil Sutterfield, Carl Ray Cantrell, Paul Ray Sutterfield, Carl Roberts, and David Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Roberts, Ralph Rowden, Thomas Roberts, and Billy Branscum.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
