Charles Eston "Abby" Abshire, 95, of Boise, died Tues-day, Dec. 2, 2009, at a local care center of natural causes.
He was born July 12, 1914 in Nebraska to Lucy Hickman Abshire and Charles Thomas Abshire. He married Mary Brabb. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, David and Louise Abshire of Port Hadlock, Washington, Dennis and Pat Abshire of Redway, California and Nick and LeeAnn Abshire of Boise; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
