Jimmy "Pee Wee" Walton, of Clarksville, Arkansas died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, in an Oklahoma City hospital. Mr. Walton was 65 years old.

Mr. Walton was born April 14, 1936, at Clarksville, Arkansas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Coal Hill Riding Club & Quadrille and a former member of Rural Fire Department No. 8. Mr. Walton was a former employee of Peden Foundry & Machine Shop and River Valley By Products and formerly in the 153rd Company E National Guard unit at Clarksville for nine years.

Mr. Walton is survived by his wife, Shirley; two sons, Kyle of Clarksville and Kevin of Fort Smith; a sister, Anna Stumbaugh of Little Rock; a brother, Henry of Clarksville; and four grandchildren, Aaron and Preston Walton, both of Fort Smith, and Jordon and Dustin Walton, both of Clarksville. Pallbearers will be Dale and Donald Meek, Bob Hurley, Don Dougan, Herman Houston and Ben F. Hardgrave.

Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday in Cherry Street First Baptist Church. He was laid to rest at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Hunt, Arkansas, under the direction of Hardwick Funeral Home of Clarksville.
