Carl was the next to the youngest of six children born to Herman Hanson Mattingly and Mary Lee Oma Crowe. He was an ex-Marine and Viet Nam Veteran. He departed this life much too early and is sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. His heart was as big as the sky and I believe if he loved anyone more than his mother it was his lovely daughter who spread his ashes over his mother's grave.
