"BILOXIAN DEAD"

"There died in the city Sunday morning at 1:30 o'clock one of Biloxi's well known native residents, who was known by residents and visitors alike. Herman O. Agregaard was 58 years of age, and had been ill for some months, but it did not become serious until recently when he was removed to Biloxi City Hospital for treatment but he failed to recover. For twenty-five years Mr. Agregaard conducted a lunch room and soft drink stand at the Seashore Campground and was forced to give up the business about a year ago. He is survived by six sons, over whom he has been guide since the death of his wife some years ago. His sons are John, Carey, P.D., Roy, Warren and Walter, all of whom still claim Biloxi as their home. The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from his residence, 727 Reynoir street. Services were conducted under the auspices of the Methodist church by Rev. H. W. Van Hook and interment was in the Biloxi cemetery. A number of the relatives and friends of the deceased paid their last respectes to the deceased."

"Residents of the Seashore Campground who were not at first informed but later learned of the death of Herman O. Agregaard, who died in this city Sunday morning, were grieved to learn of the death of the Biloxian. Mr. Agregaard has been in business at the campground during the past forty years where he conducted a fish and oyster business. He was also employed in the first work of establishing the grounds as a religious meeting place to be conducted under the auspices of the Methodist conference of Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama."
