Mary Ethel Gardner Tullis, our sweet, loving and serving mother and grandmother will be greatly missed, but we are happy for her passing to a brighter and better place. She passed away on May 29, 2007 in Orem, UT. Mary was the 5th child of 11 to Orawell and Mary Ethel Gardner. She married Charles Lewis Tullis in 1932 and was sealed in the St. George Temple in 1975.
She was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, husband Charles and son Jack D. Tullis. She is survived by her other son Steven E. Tullis of Morenci, Arizona, daughter-in-law, Lenora (Dolly)Tullis Siggard of Orem, Ut., six grand children, 16 great grand children and sisters Lela Steffey, Calif. and Velma Dustin, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 4, 2007, 11:00 a.m., Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd., St. George, UT. A visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the mortuary. Interment will be in Ivins Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary (435) 673-4221.
