Funeral services for Judy Mixon, a former McCurtain County Native, who was a teacher in the Irving, Texas, school system, will be held Saturday (12-23-1989) at 2 p.m. in the Norwood Funeral Chapel, in Idabel.
She died Dec. 19, at Grapevine, Texas, and was the daughter of Lela Flowers Mixon and the late Howard Mixon.
Rev. Oscar Wilkie and Rev. Dale Hall will officiate the services.
She received her bachelors degree at Southeastern Oklahoma State University of Oklahoma.
She was 41, born July 4, 1948, in Paris, Texas.
Survivors include her mother, Lela and a brother, Bob Mixon of Idabel.
Also a sister-in-law, Kathy Mixon, a niece, Jennifer Mixon and a nephew, Jeff Mixon of Idabel.
Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and cousins.
