She was a native of Jefferson County, a former caregiver and a member of North Charlestown Church of God.
Survivors include three sons, William A., Steven, and Michael Bates; a daughter, Irene Manaugh; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A graveside service was conducted Monday, May 17, at Charlestown Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
