Chris graduated from Concord public school system. She then gaduated from the Katherine Gibbs School and worked for Babson Investments for a short period of time. After her marriage to Mr. Hay in 1935 she worked with her husband at the C.J. Hay Shoe Store in West Concord which was a family business.
