NORTH VERNON — Clifton E. Caddell, 84, of Dupont died at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday,
Feb. 18, 2003, at Jennings Health Care Center.

Mr. Caddell retired from ITT Industries where he was a tool and die maker.
He served with the Army in Rhineland, central Europe and the Aleutian
Islands during World War II and was a member of Alpha Baptist Church in
Scott County.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home
with the Rev. Lance Marshall officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m.
today. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour and military
graveside rites will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.

Mr. Caddell was born in Pineville, Ky., June 26, 1918, the son of George
Harlan and Julia Ebner Caddell. He married Jennie Duwe Aug. 27, 1950, at
Dudleytown.

Survivors include his wife; sons, George Caddell of Alert, Joseph Caddell of
Dupont and David Caddell of Madison; grandchildren, Michael Caddell of
Alert, Jeffrey and Danielle Caddell, both of Madison, and Kimberly Foster of
Hartsville; a sister, Cora Graesser of Trenton, Ill.; and three
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Daniel and Julian
Caddell.
