Marie Kerr Stufflebeme, 97, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2009.
Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, 310 S.W. 3rd St., Grand Prairie, the Rev. Jim Reinarz officiating. Interment to follow in Southland Memorial Park.
A resident of Grand Prairie since 1920, Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John Stufflebeme in 2001. She had been active in local women's clubs and women's organizations for many years, and had been a member of First Presbyterian Church in Grand Prairie since 1924. Her father, Travis Bee Kerr, was one of the founding members of the church. Marie and her husband traveled quite extensively, and she enjoyed learning of her Scottish heritage while visiting Scotland. Other enjoyable trips were to England, Japan, Alaska and South America.
Survivors: Cousins, Lloyd Oatis of Bainsbridge Island, Wash., Marilyn Jones of San Marcos, Alan Walker of Duncanville; niece, Angela Berry of Grand Prairie; and uncle, Ralph Kerr of Albuquerque, N.M.
