On Sunday November 15, 2009 after celebrating his 102nd birthday, Mr. G.L. Beauregard passed away. He lived most of his life in Sutton, Quebec where he worked as a Customs Officer for more than 35 years.
He is survived by his two daughters Mrs. Rachel Carrier (Betmar resident) and Mrs. Marthe Champigny of Sutton, Quebec. Mr. Beauregard's son, Pierre, was deceased on January 1, 2009. He also leaves to mourn 16 grand-children, 23 great-grand children, and 4 great-great-grand children.
Mr. Gerard Beauregard had been an annual Florida visitor since 1957 with the last 4 years as a permanent Betmar resident.
Visitation will be 10:30am followed by a memorial service at 11:00am on Saturday November 21 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 36327 Hwy 54, Zephyrhills, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Betmar Owners Memorial Fund, 3715 Lakewood Drive, Zephyrhills, FL 33542.
