Annie Shephard Died in Vancouver
Annie Maria Shephard, age 78, passed away at the St. Joseph Hospital, Vancouver, July 27, 1944.
Mrs. Shephard was born at Washougal and later moved to Portland wher she lived for 40 years, and the last three years she has lived with her brother, Mr. Jack Gibbons, here.
Mrs. Shephard is one of the old pioneers of the Washougal district.
She is survived by six brothers, Jake Gibbons, Washougal, Henry Gibbons of Carrolls, Wash., and Pearl of St. Helens, Ore., Walter of Kelso, Wash., Ray of Kelso, Wn., and two sisters, Mrs. Laura Hayden of Portland and Mrs. Clara Love of Portland.
Services were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Swank's Funeral Home, Camas, with Rev. George Jefferson officiating. Interment at the Washougal Cemetery.
