GRANBURY - Lorene Trimble of Granbury, a former buyer and department head for J.C. Penney Co., died Sunday at a Granbury hospital. She was 71.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chapel of the Chimes at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.

Mrs. Trimble was born in Glen Rose. She was a former resident of Joshua and had lived in California previously, where she was a buyer and department head with J.C. Penney.

She enjoyed bowling and had won numerous trophys in pool tournaments.

Mrs. Trimble was a Baptist.

Survivors: Husband, Don Trimble of Granbury; son, David Lee Trimble of Granbury; two brothers, Thomas Alvin Reynolds of Cleburne and James Boss Reynolds Jr. of Arlington; and sister, Dossie Dahn of Cleburne.
