--Mrs. Bertha Simmons Danner Clark, 71, died Tuesday morning at home of a daughter, 822 W. 2nd North, Provo, of a coronary occlusion.
Born March 23, 1889, Charleston, Wasatch County, to George and Dora Turner Simmons. Married to Erwin B. Danner, Jan. 23, 1908, Charleston, Solemnized Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Oct. 26, 1912. He died Dec. 26, 1933. Married Lawrence M. Clark in 1939, He died Dec. 29, 1959. Lived in Garland, Box Elder County, with second husband until his death.
Survivors; sons, daughters, Mrs. Dora Casper, Provo; Mrs. Roger (Lillian) Anderson, Mrs. Norman (Evelyn) Traher, Mrs. Katie Kay Grover, DeLyle Danner, all Elko, Nev.; Mrs. Dick (Buelha) Foretich, Las Vegas, Nev.; Merrill Danner, Mrs. Earl (Edith) Reed, both Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Sidney (Elna) Conarre, Houston, Tex.; six stepchildren, 26 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brothers, sister, John Simmons, Heber; Stephen Simmons, Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Maude Bates, Ogden.
Funeral Friday noon, Olpin Mortuary, Heber, where friends call Thursday, 7-9 p.m., Friday prior,
