James L. Hart and family came from MS to Arkansas, Cleburne Co.,Grassy Township, some time after 1910 and before 1918. He and his wife Nishie had several children and at least 3 of them are buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery east of the small community of Banner. Nishie is also buried there. Nishie (Shumaker) and James were married in MS on Dec. 19, 1900. Their children listed in the 1910 and 1920 census' were Georgia N. (Naomie - 'Omie') Anna (Sallia Ann - 'Annie'), Henry C.('Clay'), Alvin W. (Walter), Rosa I., James P.(Patrick), George B.(Blanton); Little Nishie died at about 6 months of age the year her mother died. Also living with James in 1920 was his father Henry and his age was 100. I don't know where he is buried but I wonder if he isn't buried at Mt. Zion in the Hart plot in an unmarked grave. Some time after Nishie died James married Minnie Lee Bowling-Bishop. Minnie had 3 daughters - Nola Geneva ('Neever'), Willie Lucille ('Cil') & Alice Elizabeth ('Lizzie'); & a son - James Henry, with husband Johnny Bishop. Together James & Minnie were blessed with Flora Evelyn, who was born on the 26th anniversary of the wedding of James & Nishie.
