Welcomed from the Border
Two Warren county lads were last evening given a cordial welcome upon their return from the Mexican border, where they have been doing service with Company E., of Jamestown NY. The lads in question are cousins Glenn Spetz and Clarence Spetz of Freehold and the celebration took place in that village last evening. Rev. Carl Jacobson, pastor of the Swedish Lutheran church of this city was the principal speaker of the evening. Patriotic song's, recitations, instrumental music and a big supper were among the other features. Glenn Spetz is a brother of Mrs. Merle Graham of this city. Both are popular young men and the welcome them was from the heart on the part of their many friends.
