Mr. Hirschi was born June 11, 1868, in Tooele. He later moved to Park Valley in western Boxelder county, where he resided for more than twenty five years before coming to Brigham City to reside eleven months ago. He was one of the prominent ranchers and cattlemen of Park valley. He was also an active member of the L. D. S. church, having served as bishop of the Park Valley ward for many years, and later as a member of the Curlew stake presidency.
Mr. Hirschi married Mary Zaugg of Park Valley in the Logan temple in 1889, who, with the following sons and daughters, survive; Albert Hirschi of Rosette, William Hirschi of Sugar City Idaho; Louie Hirschi and Mrs. Mary Eldora Carter of Park Valley; Rulon Hirschi of Perry, Emil, Ferdinand C. and Eunice Rose Hirschi of Brigham City. Surviving also are one brother, Fred Hirschi, bishop of Rosette ward, and two sisters, Mrs. Rose Larsen of Park Valley and Mrs. Harland A. Valentine of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Fourth ward chapel in this city. The body will be taken to Park Valley, where services will be held Friday and interment will be in the Parik Valley cemetery.
