CLAUDE L. BAUMBAUER, 94, of Berne died Wednesday at home. The Wabash native was owner of Hi-Way Sign Service, served in the Cavalry from 1921-1924 and was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Wilma; sons, William of Liberty and Jon of Ceylon; and a grandchild.

Burial will be in Wabash Cemetery, Wabash. Arrangements are by Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne.
