Alice Mae (Baker) Carroll, age 88 of Brookville,
formerly of Englewood, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Brookhaven Nursing & Care Center. She had retired from Delco Moraine as a Floor Inspector and was also part of the Delco Moraine 25 Year Club. She was a former member of the United Church of Christ in West Milton. Alice was known for her sweet smile, positive attitude and loving personality.

She is survived by her daughter: Sandra Eby of Brookville and dear friend: Wendell Chadwell of Brookville, sister: Lucille Anders of Russells Point, daughterin-law: Margaret Hunkler of Florida, step-sister: Virgie Metzger of Miamisburg, grandchildren: Lisa Carroll, Erin and Amber Eby, great grandchildren: Alexandria and Jimmy Carroll, step-sons: Thomas Carroll of West Milton, William and Brenda Carroll of Troy, step-grandchildren: Matthew, Aaron, Jill, Julie and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Joe Leon Carroll in 2002, son: Ron Hunkler, parents: Herschel and Anna Mae (Henninger) Baker, step mother: Cora Baker, and son-in-law: James Michael Eby.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the exceptional nurses and staff at Brookhaven for the compassionate care given to Alice during her many years there.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m., on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood).

Entombment will follow the service at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Brookville. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the
funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Brookville Handi Van, envelopes will be provided.
