Mrs. Susie Shotwell, wife of Mortimer N. Judd of New Britain, died at a private hospital In New Haven, late on Monday night of complications following the birth of a daughter a week ago. She was born in New York twenty-nine years ago, and had spent much of her life in Europe. She was married to Mr. Judd two years ago. Besides her husband and an infant daughter, she leaves two sons of 9 and 11 years, of a former marriage, and one sister.
She was a woman of unusual attractiveness and mental ability, and is greatly mourned by all who knew her. The funeral will take place In New Britain tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock and will be private. Mr. Judd's sister, Mrs. Charles M. Bradley of St. Louis will be here to attend the funeral.
