Mr. Berghoff had been employed as a car inspector for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company for 40 years. He retired about 10 years ago.
He is survived by a widow, Annie Berghoff, who was Miss, Vorsteg, and seven children: Frederick F., Mrs. Frederick A. (Adelaide) Wineke, Mrs. Thomas A. McCann, Mrs. Joseph G. Bannon and Misses Gertrude, Agnes and Grace Berghoff.
He was born in Baltimore and had lived here all of his live. He had been a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church for 50 years

The funeral of Mr. Anthony Berghoff, who died suddenly Wednesday, took place yesterday from his late home, 7 West Lee Street. The funeral proceeded to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where a requiem high mass was offered. Burial was in Bonnie Brae Cemetery
