William Bradford Hunt was born in Greenville, Kentucky in 1824 to John Hunt and Jane Coates. He married Nancy Ann Hunt at the age of 22, and was widowed at age 24. He and other members of the Hunt Family left for the Great Salt Lake Valley of Utah, arriving in 1852 with the North Pigeon Branch.
He subsequently married Ellenor Wiggins, and they had eight children. They lived in Ogden and in St. George Utah. In 1873 they moved to Richmond and set up a homestead in Utah's Cache Valley. He passed away in Richmond in 1891.
