Georgia Faye was born at the ranch south of Smiley. She attended Southwest Teachers College in San Marcos. Upon graduation she became a teacher with the Fredericksburg Public Schools. She later went to work for Humble in Houston Texas. While working for Humble in Houston, she lived at 1903 Woodhead and 519 Colquitt, Apt 5. She died at the family house located at 323 W. 5th Ave, Yorktown Texas on Jan 14, 1985. She never married. Memorial placed on Dec 2, 2010.
