Jacqueline "Jackie" (Duck) Gillespie, 77, of Glen Rock, entered into rest November 27, 2009, at York Hospital. She was the wife of Barry L. Gillespie with whom she celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on February 23, 2009.

Mrs. Gillespie was born in El Paso, Texas, on December 17, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Alonso and Tina Mae (Schuyler) Duck.

Jackie was employed by the former McCrory's Corp. as an order filler, retiring in 1994. She was a Longaberger Basket Consultant for 15 years. She was a member of the Shiloh American Legion Post 791 Ladies Auxiliary, Moose Lodge, a York Hospital volunteer, and a life member of the Viking Athletic Assoc. She was an active participant with the McCrory's Luncheon Group at the Old Country Buffet.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Jeanette D. Calderwood of Glen Rock, Phyllis D. Spangler and her husband, Bud of Bellefonte, Roxanne M. Unger and her husband, Tracey of Hanover, and Lorraine D. Gillespie and her husband, Richard Leonard of York; one son, Daren L. Gillespie and his wife, Judy of Thomasville; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
