Woman Killed at Losh's Run

Mrs. Sarah E. Shaffer, widow of Reuben Shaffer, late of Buffalo township was killed at Losh's Run Wednesday evening of last week by being struck by a train. She had gone to that place to visit her daughter, Mrs. W.H. Peterman, and was seen to get off the train all right, but was not seen alive after that. Henry Bosdorf, track walker, found her dead body lying between the tracks an hour and a half later. Mrs. Shaffer was a kind, motherly old lady and was liked by everyone who knew her. Interment at Buck's Church Sunday. She was aged 70 years, 6 months, and 13 days.
