Sergeant Simon Abell married first Rachel Partridge Brewster. She was born 1 Mar 1753 and died 1776. Rachel is the daughter of Nathan Brewster (A descendant of Elder William Brewster). They had 1 child: Brewster Abell born 4 Sep 1773 (Norwich, New London, Conn); died 31 Oct 1846 (Oswego, Oswego, NY). (FindAGrave Memorial ID - Brewster Abell - 44013197).

He married 2nd: Betty Bigelow, daughter of Aza and Dorothy (Otis) Bigelow.
