It is most probable that she is buried in the Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca, Travis County, Texas. The original cemetery is on land once owned by Lucinda and her husband, James Turley.

In Edna Turley Carpenter's book Tales from the Manchaca Hills, it is stated that Lucinda had TB and died from it and the birth of her fourth child, Thomas Turley.

The couple married January 15, 1844, in Nacogdoches, Texas.
