Funeral services for Duffy W. Curry, 60, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, Jeffersonville, with cremation to follow.
Internment will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, at New Albany National Cemetery.
He died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at his home.
He was born in Jeffersonville and worked as a machinist for Brinly- Hardy. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Curry; a daughter, Lori Benson, of New Albany; a sister, Garrie Marie McCowan, of New Albany; three grandchildren, Cortney Benson, Brandin Benson and Jacob Hunton, all of New Albany; and a host of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Loraine Curry; and three brothers.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to the charity of your choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
