Highly Respected Lady Passes Away
Mrs. Harriet Grogg, widow of Daniel Grogg, died at her home, five miles northeast of this city, at 11:40 o'clock Thursday Nov. 21, death following a long illness with dropsy. She had been bedfast since the early part of April.
Funeral services on Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock, short services at the home conducted by Rev. W. S. Sage of North Robinson. Services afterward at the Crall church with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Grogg had been a native of this county for many years and was well known and highly respected. Her husband died several years ago and she is survived by five daughters and one son. The children are Avesta, wife of J. R. Keiter; Ida, wife of Frank Bender, of this city; Mrs. Effie Spade; Julia, wife of J. J. Davis; Harriet, wife of Ed J. Brehmean and Amos, at home.
Mrs. Grogg's maiden name was Harriet Crall and her age at death was 67 years, 4 months and 28 days. Her many friends will deeply regret her death and extend sympathy to the children.
