She read Latin and Greek, having been educated in Philadelphia." After Thomas' death she is said to have travelled to Davenport, IA, to visit her sons John, Andrew (Mack) and Benjamine. Benjamine died before she arrived, and she died during her visit.
Elizabeth's parents were buried on the Old Family Farm, in Donegal Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA beside her Larimer grandparents.
Elizabeth married William Moorhead Hutchison on 15 Dec 1831. They had 6 children they named: Amelia, Thomas Alexander, William "George", Rachel Ellen, Delilah, John Moorhead Hutchison.
She was the 1st of 3 wives of William. Her younger sister Eleanor married William in 1853 just over a year after she died in 1851.

Gravesite Details
A search for her tombstone was made in Oct 2010 but it was not found. Many of the stones near her husband were broken and/or could not be read.
