Mr. Aubrey Lee Bryant, 91, of Martinez, Georgia, who went to be with the Lord March 14, 2008, will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Pastor Rich Bowen officiating. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Bryant was a native of Coffee County, Georgia having made Augusta his home for the past 55 years. He retired from the Southern Railroad in 1981and he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Bryant was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and honored Jehovah God most of his adult life. He was a dedicated member of the Belvedere Church of God and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Margaret Ann Gillis Bryant. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Bryant and Peter Greb, Augusta and Rose Bryant and Wallace Jordon, Greenville; a son, James Norman Bryant,Sr., North Augusta; five grandchildren, Sherri Collins Barajas, James Norman Bryant, Jr., Steven Aubrey Collins, Steven Anthony Bryant and Kyla RaeWalker; eight great-grandchildren, Casey, Christina, Sarah, Elise, Seth, Tyler, Amanda and Jacob. Pallbearers will be James Bryant, Sr., James Bryant, Jr., Steven Bryant, Steven Collins, Peter Greb and Wallace Jordon.
