Eugene graduated from the Grant City High School. He served in United States Navy.
On Aug. 2, 1947, he was united in marriage to Ada May King. She preceded him in death Nov. 1, 2000.
Also preceding him in death were a daughter, Leah Kathleen Fletchall, and his parents.
Eugene was engaged in farming and was owner and operator of Fletchall Pipe and Steel in Grant City as long as his health permitted.
He was a member of the Allendale Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter Norma Vorthmann and husband Stan of Treynor, Iowa; son Ted Fletchall and wife Becky of Geisenheim, Germany; brother Joe Fletchall and wife Betty of Sheridan, Mo.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City. Pastor Len Green will officiate. Interment will be in the Fletchall Cemetery in Grant City
