George R.[sic ?] Boxell Dies At His Home

Well Known Resident Passes Away Near Mt. Zion; Funeral Friday

Funeral services for George Albert Boxell, 56, who died Wednesday at his home one mile west and two miles south of Mt. Zion, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mt. Zion United Brethren church in charge of Rev. Charles H. Slusher. Burial will be in the Jones cemetery. Death was due to complications, following an illness of six months.

The decedent was born Sept. 17, 1883 in Wells county to Ezekial and Margaret Gephart Boxell. His marriage to Anna Stotler took place Jan. 9, 1904.

Surviving are the widow; six sons, Glen L. Boxell, of Greentown; Paul Lester, Robert and Rex Boxell, all of Warren, and Roger Boxell, of Hartford City; a daughter Mrs. Margaret Bailey, of Detroit, Mich.; four brothers, James Boxell, of Stonewall, Okla.; Elbridge Boxell, of Noble, Ill., Jacob and Charles Boxell, of Warren, and a sister, Mrs. Nova Riggs, Warren route 2. A daughter is deceased.
