Funeral Rites for Mrs Marion Green

Lawrenceville, NJ - Jan 07 - The funeral of Mrs Marion L Green, widow of John V Green was held this morning from her late residence, the Potts Homestead. Interment was in Ewing Cemetery.

Mrs. Green was born in the same house in which she died. She was the daughter of George Sherman and Mary Burdsall Potts. The former was a direct descendant of Mahlon Stacy, who with William Trent founded the city of Trenton. Her great grandfather, Stacy Potts, was Mayor of Trenton during the Revolutionary War. The deceased outlived her husband by only four months.
