Athens, AL - Romeo Rupert Aultman, 77, of Athens, died Wednesday at a local hospital.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Jack Still officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Aultman, a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, was a deacon at Elkton Road Baptist Church. He retired from the Alabama Highway Department.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Bolin Aultman; a daughter, Sharion Gay Adams of Lawton, Okla.; two brothers, Norman Aultman of Colorado and A.C. Aultman of Mississippi; three sisters, Ivonne Hughes, Ethylene Canoy and Gladys Hudlin, all of Oak Grove, LA; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
