Mrs. Nancy Martin Dies At Hospital
Mrs. Nancy Ellen Martin, 68, who made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Amos Gross, north of Warren, died at 10 p.m. Thursday at the Wells county hospital, following an illness of seven days from pneumonia.
The decedent was born March 22, 1878, in Wells county, a daughter of Henry and Ellen Young Howdyshell. She was united in marriage in 1900 to John W. Martin, who preceded her in death, Sept. 29, 1925. She had been a resident of Wells county for 30 years.
Surviving are two sons, James Martin, of Warren, Von W. Martin, of Terre Haute; two daughters, Mrs. Flossie M. Huffman, of Warren, and Mrs. Amos Gross, north of Warren, and a brother, John Howdyshell, of Bluffton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Amos Gross, two miles north of Warren on state road 5, in charge of Rev. Donald Poe. Burial will be in the Stahl cemetery.

Mrs. Nancy Martin Is Taken By Death
Mrs. Nancy Ellen Martin, 68, resident of Huntington county for the last 30 years, died at 10 p.m. Thursday at the Wells county hospital after an illness of seven days of pneumonia.
Mrs. Martin was born March 22, 1878 in Wells county to Henry and Ellen Young Howdyshell and was married in 1900 to John martin, who died Sept. 20, 1925.
Surviving are two sons, James E. Martin, Warren, and Von W. Martin, Terre Haute; two daughters, Mrs. Flossie M. Huffman, Warren, and Mrs. Amy Gross, north of Warren, with whom she lived, and a brother, John Howdyshell of Bluffton.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Gross home, two miles north of Warren on state road 5 with the Rev. Donald Poe, officiating, and interment was in the Stahl cemetery in Wells county.
