Mrs. Sophia E. Taylor died at her home east of Sedalia yesterday and will be buried tomorrow at Smithton. She was born Dec. 6, 1816 in Paris, Bourbon Co., Kentucky. She was married in her twenty-third year to F.B. Taylor, who survives. She was the mother of eight children, three daughters and five sons, five of them are living and three deceased, one son and two daughters. - Sedalia Weekly Bazoo - Tuesday, March 18, 1890 pg.6
