CLYDE P. BROOKS DEAD
Following an extended illness, Clyde P. Brooks, aged 23, died at his home on Pennsylvania avenue at 11:25 o'clock Monday evening.
Prior to his illness, the deceased was employed as assistant shipping clerk at the Midland plant of the Pittsburg Iron & Steel Foundries company. He has been a member of the Pennsylvania Avenue Methodist Episcopal church since childhood.
Mr. Brooks is survived by his widow, formerly Grace Miles, and one daughter, Dorothy. His parents, Mr, and Mrs. Eli Brooks, and two brothers, Winfield and Willis, also survive.

Clyde P. Brooks was buried 3 Jan 1918 ... His wife, Grace Miles (F-A-G memorial # 36858288), remarried Otis Phelps. Both are buried at Riverview Cemetery. Clyde (F-A-G memorial # 44792760) and Grace's daughter, Dorothy (F-A-G memorial # 47844278), is also buried at Riverview with her husband, J. Lester Bell.
